Bidoup Mushrooms Explorer does not collect any data. It has no internet connection, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Everything you make in the app stays on your device.
Bidoup Explorer is made by Anna Ratkevich, an independent artist. Questions about this policy: anna.ratkevich@gmail.com
None. The app does not send anything anywhere. It contains no third-party software development kits, no advertising networks and no analytics or crash-reporting services. It does not ask for your name, e-mail, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and it has no sign-up or login of any kind.
So the app can remember where you left off, it saves the following in its own storage on your device: — the pictures you colour; — the language you chose; — which mushrooms you have already opened; — how many times each tool hint has been shown.
This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us. Deleting the app removes all of it.
If you tap Share, iOS opens its own standard share panel and you choose where the picture goes — Messages, Mail, the photo library, another app. The picture is passed straight to whatever you pick; we neither see it nor receive a copy. Access to your photo library is requested only at the moment you choose to save there, by iOS itself.
The artist's website, e-mail and social media handles are shown as plain text. Tapping them to actually open a link is placed behind a parental gate — a simple question a young child is unlikely to answer. Opened links leave the app and are handled by your browser or mail app, and the destination sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
The app is suitable for children. Because it collects nothing, transmits nothing and shows no advertising, there is no personal data of a child for us to store, use or disclose — and therefore no consent for us to ask of a parent. There are no purchases inside the app.
Apple The app is distributed through the App Store. Apple may collect its own data about downloads and, if you have agreed to share them, anonymous crash and usage statistics. That is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this one; we receive only aggregate figures that identify no one.
If the app ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
